DIN
Abbreviation for Deutsches Institut für Normung
In short and in plain language
The DIN is the German body that writes technical standards.
The standards carry its name.
In landscaping, they cover things like work on the ground, lawns, planting and paving.
They often serve as a guide for good, skilled work.
