RAL
Abbreviation for Reichs-Ausschuss für Lieferbedingungen
In short and in plain language
RAL first stood for a German committee on terms of delivery.
Today a colour collection carries this name. Each shade in it has a fixed number.
So you can order things like gates and fences in the colour you want.
Definition
RAL originally stood for a German committee on terms of delivery. Today the RAL colour collection names shades with fixed numbers. Items such as gates and fences can then be ordered in the desired colour.
