structural safety

In short and in plain language

Structural safety means that something stands firm and does not fall over.

For a wall on a slope, it depends on the soil, the height and the water.

If in doubt, experts work it out. For trees, it is checked when they are inspected.

Definition
Structural safety means that something withstands the forces acting on it and does not tip over, slide or collapse. This applies, for example, to structures, play equipment and trees. For retaining walls, it depends on soil, height, loads and water, and where in doubt it is calculated by specialists. For trees, it is assessed during tree inspections.
